Editor's pick for best restaurants; El Taquito - Located on Bonanza and Eastern. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. Not a fancy place by any means, but if the food is good I am there! It is worth the trip just to have the corn tortillas! Nevada Chicken Cafe on Sahara and Jones. I remember when this place was a Polish food buffet! :) That didn't last long BTW! This Nevada Chicken is a great place for a casual lunch. Their rotisserie and grilled chicken has a tasty seasoning on it. The flavors are simple but lotsa flavor. They have a number of sides that taste very fresh. I usually have the spinach and feta pasta salad. The saffron rice is good too. Okay, this place is kinds run down, but I have had some real tasty breakfast there. Of all things their Huevos Ranchero sauce is AMAZING! This place is always packed - that is a good sign. The service is good here too. www.omelettehouse.net Hedary's Mediterranean Restaurant. This palce is tucked away in a very unassuming strip mall on West Sahara. This place is nice and clean inside, and rich looking decor. (Very inviting) This would be a great place for a lunch date! I seem to always have a kabob on a bed of rice.
